The average costs per month for apartments in Montreal are:

- 2-1/2 or 3-1/2 (one bedroom): $750-950
- 4-1/2 (two bedroom): $900-1300
- 5-1/2 and up (three or more bedrooms): $1150 and up
- "shares" or "room": $400-600
